NATE REMIXES PROVE UNIVERSAL APPEAL
Fans of Pete Tong's seminal Friday night radio show will have heard an excellent house mix of Nate's new single in recent weeks. The Kings of Soul Mix has continued Nate's association with the dancefloor after his recent collaboration with the Poker Pets (out this week). Meanwhile a hip hop mix by Harmony has ensured the underground DJs at stations like Choice and 1Xtra continue to support the single as it picks up more daytime radio play. A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC
A party was thrown tonight in central London to celebrate the album being finished. After a year of writing and seven weeks in the studio the finishing touches were put on the album on Monday 6th June. The album is entitled Set The Tone and will be released on August 8th, while the lead single Universal will be out on July 18th.

WEST END STAR
Nate filmed the video for his own single, Universal, today in a West End Theatre in London. The Cambridge Theatre in Covent Garden was the perfect location for the clip which features Nate and his band rehearsing their performance for a Miss World style TV show. During the energy charged run-through Nate inadvertently starts a chain reaction back stage sending models, painters, security & stylists tumbling through the corridors. Oblivious to the mayhem backstage Nate continues his charismatic performance looking every bit the star. Look out for the video on a TV screen near you soon.

POKER PETS VIDEO FINISHED
Look out for the hilarious new video for the Poker Pets track Lovin’ You which features Nate on vocals. It’s a tongue in cheek clay animation video with clay pets acting out roles reminiscent of several famous dance videos of late. It even features a clay Nate enjoying a game of Poker and hanging out with his canine friends! It will get its debut play on video channel The Box this Friday between 4pm – 8pm. The track is already playlisted on all the key radio stations up North and is released on June 6th on Positiva records.

UNIVERSAL GETS BIG THUMBS UP FROM R&B DJs
After a couple of plays from Trevor Nelson on his Radio 1 show Soul Nation and spins from 1Xtra’s DJ Diggz and Ronnie Herel some of you may have already heard Nate’s new single Universal. You might also have seen it on Channel 4 as his performance of the track at the Urban Music Festival was televised and has been broadcast on both T4 Saturday and 4Music during the week. And bizarrely reports have been coming in about people hearing it in places like The Body Shop, Top Shop and River Island – which is strange because we didn’t send them copies!
